Give Away - Chic Rockport boot!

A creative director from Rockport Shoe was kind enough to share a Fall Preview boot for a give away on Shelter! The Janae Bootie is chic and stylish, but also very comfortable.  The Janae collection features adiPRENE by Adidas. AdiPRENE by Adidas is a rubber like material that acts as a shock absorber and cushions your foot.  It's the key to the comfort in this line. The Janae boot featured today is a pre-release preview that will hit stores in July/August. I have a pair so I can attest they look and feel amazing. The short bootie is still "hot" for the Fall and works with both skinny and wide legged jeans and pants! The boot retails for $170.00 and will also be available in brown and grey suede.

I will choose the winner for this adorable boot this Monday at 5:00 pm! I'll announce the winner on my blog but I'll also contact you, so be sure to leave your email address if your comment doesn't link to your email! Rockport will ship the boot in your size to your home! We are giving away one pair of the black color way.

    Hi Julie - I think these boots are smashing and although there's much to like what I LOVE is that they are Rockport. Rockport has always been the epitome of comfort as well as great style. We all know us gals can't truly look fabulous unless our feet are comfy.

    I love these boots! Top 10 list of why I like them:
    1. Don't require pedicured toes
    2. Give me an excuse to buy that new pair of black leggings
    3. Did I say I love them?
    4. Can use as a weapon in case I get mugged on the subway
    5. Will make me 5'8" tall
    6. Can justify taking a cab instead of walking 10 blocks to the restaurant in 3" heels
    7. Give me a proven "bloggie" status when I tell people how I got them
    8. I don't have a platform boot yet
    9. I have the perfect black suede-trimmed dress to go with the shoes
    10. I can wear them to work AND to my twins' elementary school graduation

    I would wear them to work under black dress pants to keep the snow out- but also with skinny jeans on the weekends! And the addidas cushioning would be great for when I have to stand at work for hours at a time- PERFECT!

    I love a good black bootie! It can go with so many things, and this one, in particular, has really great proportions. Tall enough to make your legs look great, but with a platform in the front so you don't kill your feet walking in them.

    Oh, how I covet these! Especially since I've worn out my last pair of black booties...

    In 1979, my mother picked me up from school while she was in the middle of a home perm with the rollers and plastic bag on her head...I vowed from that day forward I would always look fabulous when picking my kids up from school...these boots would do the trick!

    Those Boots are hot! I never heard of AdiPRENE but after reading your description It makes me want to try these boots. My problem is whenever I wear heals my feet always feel like they are going to fall off afterwards. If I had comfortable heels I would wear them more often.     Wow!!! people who have never wore Rockport wouldn´t believe this!!! comfortable, sexy and stylish black suede ankle boots... I started wearing Rockport two years ago after my foot surgery, I had a serious injury in the ball of my foot due to wearing high heels. I can definitely say that Rockport's fabulous, yet "feet friendly" designs gave me the confidence to wear heels again without being afraid of having any pain.
