Cocktails anyone?

Tis' the season for holiday parties. I have two coming up myself. You really can't go wrong with a little black dress, it's flattering and so versatile because you'll absolutely wear it again. A new clutch, fabulous shoes, a bit of glamorous bling , a gorgeous up do and you're ready to go! Enjoy, have wonderful weekend!

    Could have used this post a few days ago, since dec 1 I had the first holiday party, and was totally unhappy with my dress and how I looked... oh well, had a great time anyhow!

    May I share my new favorite this season? Martha Stewart's Cider-Bourbon Cocktail-
    note: I have not made it to exact proportions yet..just eyeball it!
    3/4 C apple cider, 1/3 C bourbon, 2 T fresh lemon juice, 2 (2 1/2" long) thin slices fresh peeled ginger, 2 thin slices lady apple for garnish (no garni needed!)
    Fill shaker with ice. Add cider, booze, juice & ginger-shake well! Strain into 2 coupes (glasses nearest to you) Cheers!
