...That bedroom is gorgeous and so simply luxurious!<br />I think both my kids went through that phase. We either nixed one of their naps (if they still had two during the day) or put them to bed a bit later. Even a half hour later at night made a difference in the morning. I think trying to get on a routine is really important, though, and I agree about the darkness. I think keeping them up late is actually counter-productive.Fionahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04175988518794409281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3313137434991778770.post-43085132070184751752011-05-21T16:51:31.884-04:002011-05-21T16:51:31.884-04:00Thanks for the comments.

We would put her in bed at 7pm every night but lately we've been keeping her up closer to 8:45pm (spending time playing outside) and this morning she woke up at 8:00am. This is such a crazy age though because nap schedule seem to be shifting too and things are a bit unpredictable. My little guy started doing the same thing at that age...the only way we could get another hour of out of him was to give him a bottle of milk and he would nod off again and wake up after 6...which was more bearable. He is almost 3 ( in a few months time) and he is still an early riser...around 6 -6.30...but now the nightmare is that he is waking up throughout the night and wanting to come into our bed...so we have been going through the whole musical beds for about a week now..and its painful. Just aswell they are so darn cute...makes the lack of sleep easier to forgive.
