Sneak Peek - Snapshots of my home!

I've received a number emails over the past few months asking to see some images of my own home! Let me begin by saying it's a work in progress. As most designers can attest, I can conceptualize a client's home down to the smallest detail but when it comes to my own home I {as my friend Erin from Elements of Style says} I have design A.D.D.! I know the cause, I LOVE so many styles and objects; it's so hard to choose one direction for my own space or even two for that matter! I'll share more photos when the rooms are completed! I'm focusing on the living and dining rooms now {when I can grab a moment here and there ;) that is...}. Happy Monday!

  18. I can soooo relate to your indecision with your own home. I took 4 years to choose a fabric to put on my sofas. I think we are exposed to so many different styles and so many different tastes that some of rubs off and we are left floundering when it comes to our own place. I love the red chair infront of the dark wall. Never mind, what's the rush. We'll get there in the end.

  32. I recently found you blog and have been following it. I really like your style. Your home is lovely. I know about the designer ADD! It took me 5 years before I could break ground on my own home's design and it was difficult. I've shown my home my blog a few times (including this Tuesday's post) but it took a while to get it to this point.

I would like to invite you join my Timeless Tuesday link party. The premise is timeless beauty in various forms of design and art. I think your posts would fit in nicely and I feel great about promoting them. You do not need to wrote a special post either. Simply link up a post the you would like to share. It happens each Tuesday (I usually post it Monday night). Here is this week's link ~ http://paulagracedesigns.blogspot.com/2010/02/timeless-tuesday-three.html

I hope to have you become a regular!

  40. I am so glad I have found your blog. You have a beautiful home! I was lamenting something similar on a post the other day. I can help people with their designs pretty easily. But, for my own home I am often crippled by all of the options out there....and not waiting to commit to one style or another. The possibilities.
Congrats on your baby girl! I've added you to my blogroll. Excited to keep up.
