Iris Apfel is so unbelievably chic! See this style icon's rare + glamorous closet on view right now at the Peabody Essex Museum. Her wardrobe is the ultimate mix of high and low and knack for putting it all together is truly inspirational.
The Peabody Essex Museum is actually located about 1.5 miles down the street from my house. I'm ashamed to say I haven't been to the exhibit yet but I plan to sneak it in this weekend!!!
and for all those baubles you are amassing...{one of my favorite, favorite, favorite things to purchase is accessories} here are some brilliant some storage ideas.

I love the idea of draping jewels in colorful bowls and dishes, such eye candy!
LOVE this! I wish I lived down the street from this exhibit. You'll have to tell us what you think once you go.
I will definitely report back with the details of the show!
please go see iris and then blog all about it. I love her and want to be just like her when I grow up!!
I'm very much looking forward to going this weekend. Erin from Elements of Style may come with me!! I'll be sure to blog about it next week....
I want to be just like her some day! I saw the exhibit in Florida a few years ago, it's fabulous!

The colorful cups and saucers make really great jewelry storage solutions. Not only do they make the interior of the drawers more attractive and fun, they also keep the jewelry collections intact and the chains detangled. I guess they are just not the type of common bins or boxes you can easily find around in stores to store all your jewelry. Sometimes things that you can find around the house are the ones that serve the biggest purpose.
