A little bit of country

There's nothing like four days in the country for the psyche! Open fields, home cooked meals, and the lack of traffic work wonders for my stress level! A little bit of updated country is sometimes a good thing!

Country got a bad rap from the 80s I think when it is done right it is wonderful, just like all of your images. Loved the barstools, great idea. Makes me want to move to the country, Kathysue

My very favourite decorating style - relaxed, unpretentious, and beautiful to boot. Just lovely. K xx

I am becoming more and more of a fan of country living decor. It's just so relaxed and easy.

so true. My dream home, 10 min from my parents came up for sale, but its in the country. we are going to look at it tomorrow. Trying to decide if I could really live away from it all for years to come. I am so on the fence.

oh what a life .. and oh what a hall table. how long is that and, with the painting above it that looks like a blackboard, it really does look like country. great find!!
