I love the art form of mixed media. In this case I'm referring to the surfer journals of Tony Caramanico. Tony's journals provide a wonderful glimpse inside his mind but also capture a historical journey told through the eyes of a surfer. The digitally printed journal pages are enlarged, framed and are available through Clic Gallery, in N.Y.C. {click the link for more}
I can envision a series of these hung together!
a view of the enlarged, framed journals..
Also at Clic Gallery's East Hampton location are Lulu de Kwiatkowski's vibrant collages!
Have a great weekend! This post has inspired me to make a collage! I used to love to create collages in high school and college.

Fantastic artwork! I'm a huge fan of collage and mixed media. I'm off to dig a little deeper.

I am recommending these collages to my surfing cousins in California. They are so inspiring I'm feeling like trying it myself.
