Picture Perfect - Splash 7.6

Oh how I would love a cabana and pool like this Ruthie Sommer's design right now. It's hot here, crazy hot really, so this is going to be a quick post. I reside in an old house, most houses in the North-East don't have a.c., and mine happens to be one of them {well one window unit upstairs - but that's it} so it's unbearable to sit in front of my computer right now..Have a great day - keep cool!

I can't tell you how this photo makes me happy. It is everything I love about having a pool. I tried to create a special place here but the sun is so brutal that everything sunbrella or not has to be replaced every yr. about. / :

Julie I know it's brutal there. Come on over for a dip! Stay cool and hope relief is coming your way soon. ~ deb

I understand the heat you are speaking of! I love the cabana too.

Sorry you don't have air conditioning. It's really the only way to bear the heat. It's really awful here in Texas, but you can't go anywhere that doesn't have cool air inside. Hopefully it won't last long!

How I feel for you! I remember my sweltering summer nights when I lived outside of Boston in our 1668 Saltbox with no AC either!! It was 102 in Ct to day, but luckily between the pool and (do I dare admit ) central AC, it is very bearable.

Omg, Julie!! You poor thing, I have seen on the news how back East is just getting blasted with heat. I am in Calif and we are having pretty mild weather in the 80s, for this time of year, sorry, I feel guilty just mentioning that. Love the pool and if it makes you feel cooler by looking at it , don't take your eyes off of it.

Its such a pure puddle of joy! That picture makes me yearn for a holiday in maldives or something. I'm terrible at dealing with heat, its 24/7 airconditioning when its so hot out there.
