Picture Perfect - Room(s) of the week!

I don't tend you use my blog as a personal sounding board but if you're a fellow blogger you may agree that blogging does provide a "sort of" therapeutic escape. This has been one of the worst weeks of my entire life. It's amazing how some things in life are truly out of our control. It was supposed to be a happy week, my birthday is today, but the last thing I am going to do is celebrate. This "picture perfect" post is a short "virtual home tour", instead of one room.  I needed to post these warm, comforting images today.

I truly want this blog to be a place that you all come for inspiration. I hope you enjoy my selected images and thank you for being so great. I always appreciate your comments. This blog wouldn't exist without YOU! So do bear with me if my posts are a little lean over the next few weeks. xx.

So sorry you're going through something difficult, hope things turn around so you can celebrate a happy birthday... My "going through a difficult time" mantra is "this too shall pass".. and it always does :)

Julie - I know how hard it is to come up with a post when things are not going well - you are showing your strength and commitment that you did it anyway! Thinking of you today!

Heh, join the club.. Ended up in ER with my daughter and then a friend turned out to be a complete snake. Ughhhhhhh But you know what, THIS TOO SHALL PAST. And have a vodka martini, it always helps. Better yet, come to Connecticut, we'll have one together. Happy b-day! :)

I just stayed in the house and read a few magazines and tried to keep below the radar. It is soon going to change and will be a good month ahead
Happy Birthday Julie!

But -

F*CK THIS WEEK! It can kiss your ass.

Just hope family/ kids/ health (the real things) are good and provide comfort. And go where you need to go to get a good laugh.

Happy Birthday to you!! I found your blog about one month ago and I love it. I usually don't comment, however when I read that your great day wasn't going as planned, I had to comment. Always remember that you are blessed and you have blessed so many others. No matter what is going on, take time for yourself to acknowledge yourself. Read a nice book or magazine, light a candle, check out a new store, whatever makes you happy, please do it!!! Enjoy your day!!!
