I'm not buying much this Fall as far as shoes and clothing goes...but I am going to invest in a pair of fitted riding boots. They are classic, and work so well with skinny pants and jeans..Pictured are a few of my favorites. In order: Frye, Tory Burch, Frye and ? i will get back to you on this one.
I also love how timeless the sport of riding is. I secretly hope my daughter wants to ride someday.{hell maybe I'll just take riding lessons myself}. Equestrian style blends so beautifully with a classic home.

Love your boot selection! My daughter just started taking riding lessons and I did a post on my love of equestrian style. http://myinteriorlife.blogspot.com/2010/09/back-in-saddle.html
I bought a pair of black riding boots here ( BA) and thought I might not wear them that often. This past winter ( it is just spring now) , I think I hardly wore anything else. They look good with everything and feel great. Now if only I had a horse !
Thanks so much for this post. I just went shopping with my friends and I was explaining that I want a practical boot (with a flat heel) but tall enough to wear with skirts. These are IT!
Thanks
