the hicks pendant

these photos {which are bouncing all over blog world i'm sure} further confirm my love for The Hicks Pendant by Thomas O'Brien for Circa Lighting. Check out more of Nicole's {from Sketch 42}fabulous apartment featured in Rue this month. I'm loving Rue Magazine!
I'm into the warmth of brass lately, so this may be my current choice.

I do love the brass as well...the details with the brass..slightly industrial, slightly nautical inspired-- in a good way...hard not to love! ~ Jen

I love the Hicks, I am thinking of incorporating them in our laundry room at our new home...or the mud room, not sure but I know I want them to come home to me somewhere!

Oh I like the brass one too !
I picture it in a mud room that I saw not long ago... I am in the mood lately for a home with a mud room :)

I think I'm probably the only person who doesn't love these pendants! They remind me of bombs or ball and chains in the old cartoons. The brass is much preferable...maybe it's the black that I don't much like! Oh well, I'm ok being the dissenting vote!

I like these pendants, but couldn't see them in a home I owned. Though the brass ones are changing my mind...

Yes I love these! The brass is softer than the black but the black has a more industrial feel that I love! Would love this above my breakfast room table but is it too small to stand on its own? I can only fit one and am not sure it will give off enough light...thoughts anyone?

I don't think that I'll ever tire of this pendant. The brass is a nice change though!
