I'm smitten with Tom Scheerer's design for the Lyford Cay Club. It delivers so many wonderful elements; pagoda designs, grass cloth, faux bamboo, corals, pink, yellow and chocolate, antique mirrors. etc. etc. Most of Tom's designs use these materials. His work is amazing. I'm not sure I'll ever make it past the pink entry gates, but a girl can dream right? A little beach shack in the Bahamas would do. {see Tom's home here - I am in love with this casual beauty} |
How amazing is this tented dining area? |
And the Lyford Cay inspired Pagoda print by Quadrille {of course}

My family and I are headed to the airport right now to go to the Bahamas... to Lyford Cay, no less. How funny that your post corresponded with our departure. It has me giddy with excitement. Now, airport security won't seem so bad because I'll know what comes next. :)
Loved the photos of Lyford Cay. My daughter and son-in-law are off this morning for a vacation there. So beautiful.

Haha. Well, I didn't know that my daughter Lucy had already posted when I posted my few sentences. :)

Lovely, but I don't really understand what pagodas have to do with Lyford Cay. (I've spent a LOT of time in the Bahamas, and I have yet to see a pagoda print.)
Wow, these spaces manage to pull off elegant and relaxed at the same time - that's not easy to do! Beautiful - I can almost feel the warm breeze...!

Beautiful!
LOVE this. I've got a post archived on the whole collection. I have been trying to get my last 2 clients to use Lyford by Quadrille. Seems a little unfair when someone has the money, but doesn't buy what you'd kill for ;) I'm hoping to redo my own master in it, along with other Quadrille patterns, in navy and pink. Though, the pink and green is so tempting...
These rooms look great, like the different styles in each room whicle keeping the carribean look. It's hard to keep a style flowing throughout different rooms. Thnaks for these pics
