Classically Modern

This home is a beautiful blend of classic ideas and modern twists! Each traditional element works better because it's juxtaposed against a slightly modern idea. Whether my clients are traditionalists, transitionalists, or modernists, I always strive to work with them to bring an air of contrast and unpredictability into their homes.
How about those barn doors and old brick herringbone floors? (consider a herringbone layout with any type of flooring material, it's a bit unexpected).
This modern kitchen wouldn't work as well without the warm, rustic floors and vintage inspired lighting.

The grey tones of the two bedrooms above are so moody and crisp! Grey shades are a great choice for bedrooms because they can be mixed with virtually any shade.

Love this post! Any chance you know the source for the duvet and scalloped trimmed pillows in the beautiful bedroom with the four poster bed? I've been searching everywhere!!
