I've long had a "thing" for bungalow style homes..I'm not sure if it's their approachability of design, or their creative potential..but I'm always keeping my eyes open for that chic bungalow by the sea..I love the graphic use of charcoal, white + yellow on this home above. It's by Tamara from "House of Honey" {love the name btw}. for more of her "sweet" design click her site here. She also has a shop! {would love small store front someday}

another fabulous bungalow style home: Anna Spiro's new getaway..for more images see her blog here. {i continually admire Anna's colorful approach}

I sell a lot of beach bugalows here at the Jersey shore, but NONE are as cute as this!

I have the same "thing" for bungalows. They're just so charming. I would move into this one tomorrow! Thanks for sharing Julie!

Funny, I was just debating the merits of period vs. modern paint colors on old houses…and this is a great example of when modern works. Love the fun pop of yellow against the charcoal!
Aah i love the pictures:)
Check out our great giveaway at Scandinavian Chic:)
There are a lot of homes by the beach in Long Beach, CA that look just like the one featured at the top of this post. They are all very beautiful, thanks for posting these great pictures.

that bungalow is perfection! i've had it stowed away in my inspiration folders for far too long. i hadn't seen the adorable porch shot though so thank you very much for sharing! i'm right there with you on the bungalow love.
I'm only getting a glimps at the striped arm chair at the table, and I think I'm in love!
What a gorgeous bungalow! Love the use of colour.
