The other day, I took a trip to Zimman's {an amazing discount fabric store near my home}in Lynn...I was in search of the "parrot" green fabric for my next "home project" - my dining chairs.{which I have yet to purchase} Read my original post here. I was thrilled when I scored the perfect green fabric..discount stores are often hit or miss!
Love this look and am going to purchase white Louis IXV chairs.
I also brought home a sample of the perfect coral pink; my plan is to design an oversized, skirted ottoman for my living room similar to the one pictured below. { by Nate Berkus }

that is one huge ottoman, I can't wait to see your finished projects
Been planning to go to zimman's for a while. Glad to know you found what you were looking for there. Any other fabric stores worth checking out in the area? For those of us without access to the Boston Design Center, there's not a lot out there.
The coral pink fabric looks beautiful. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Am totally LOVING your plans and fabric choices!!

I love Zimmans, too. I am going there tomorrow with clients. We find the most amazing fabric there!! It really is a gem of a place. I adore the color of your new fabric!! Always enjoy your posts!

such fresh colors. It would be hard to be sad or depressed in that room! The huge ottoman is such a good piece. Are you doing the tufts too??? That's quite ambitious. Good luck. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Oh my that ottoman. I want it. Love your peacock green fabric. Excited to see how it turns out!
It's going to look wonderful - I love your color combinations! Especially with the splash of peach thrown in (peach seems to be making a comeback these days).

Thanks for the tip about Zimman's! JoAnn is nice for some things, but it's good to have an alternative to explore! I LOVE the throw pillow with the dragon motif!
Yes, I'm going to do simple tufts maybe even biscuit tufts..but not myself. I'm just going to design the piece! The pink fabric picks up on the pink berries on the Chiang Mai Dragon
Love, love, Zimmans. I haven't lived in Boston for 16 years and I still get chills when I think of the hunting process in that great store.
Beautiful fabric for your chairs...tell us about the faux bois framed piece next to the bolt of fabric in the first photo.
Coral pink ottoman? Yeah.
Thanks for the morning shot in the arm. Your post is better than coffee.

MB, I am mb also. Funny thing, I met and married a man from across the pond too. We lived in England for a while before crossing back over to live in the states. Been here with my man ever since.
