Farm Fresh

I was searching for concept inspiration the other night, when I came across this house located in Sonoma, CA. It's a modern interpretation of a barn by Walker Warner Architects
I could handle a weekend or two here right now.

My hubby and I were there two weeks ago for a quick get away. It was nothing short of divine. We stayed in Calistoga. (Calistoga Ranch)
The house you posted is the best of the local architecture. I could move right in.
What a beautiful part of the world.

Perfection! This is so well designed, the scale is beautiful, private and I couldn't find a flaw in the whole house.
This goes in the files...thanks.

This is beautiful. My husband and I are drawn to U-shaped house designs. I like how the roof overhangs provide sun protection for the house and the porch area under them extends space for relaxing or entertaining. As a midwesterner who deals with bugs in the summer, I love seeing the doors open wide and without screens. Are there no bugs in this area?

Oh-so-ready to be able to hang out and entertain on our deck, but the heat here in Arkansas is keeping us all inside. My dream house will have a wrap-around porch though...just like this one!
