Shelter Loves
I'm trying to find a balance between staying informed and keeping calm. I've taken a much needed break from the news today and have been enjoying getting some work done in my sun-filled office. I am very thankful to have this new space now that I am mainly working from home. It does feel better that we're in this together. I truly hope you, your family members and friends are staying healthy. That's the most important goal right now.
My design work and blogging have been a wonderful distraction along with getting outdoors to enjoy the fresh air. Besides the obvious, here is what is on my mind. I believe when we conquer this health crisis (many of you may have been doing this already) we'll hit the reset button on our lives with a fresh approach to our thinking and a focus on what is truly important. I know I'll be thrilled to spend time with my family and friends. Stay healthy and safe ....xx
1. Some of the best days of our lives have yet to happen. Carry that thought with you.
2. Think of how gorgeous all of our yards will be when the weather warms up. I know I plan to get out and do some yard work in the upcoming weeks.
3. We could all use a pair of rose colored glasses right about now.
4. I adore Jane Winchester's jewelry and will be buying myself this pendant and chain at some point.
5. Gauzy white tops and comfortable pants are going to be my "go to" this summer. I'm nervous to try my jeans on after all the extra snacking and wine consumption I've experienced these past two weeks.
6. Are you over cooking yet? I need some new dinner ideas and bought the ingredients for this sheet pan recipe. The less clean up the better. The New York Times cooking section has shared a number of recipes....check them out.
